  • Accurate measurements are essential to ensure your dancer or gymnast receives a comfortable, performance-ready fit. Please use a soft measuring tape and measure over fitted dancewear (not loose clothing). The tape should be snug but not tight.

    1. Bust

With arms relaxed at the sides, measure around the fullest part of the chest. Keep the tape straight and level across the back.

This measurement helps determine top size.

    2. Waist

Measure around the smallest part of the waist (about 1 inch above the belly button).

    3. Hips

Stand with heels together. Measure around the fullest part of the hips and bottom. Keep the tape straight and level all the way around.

This measurement helps determine skirt, pants, and shorts size.

    4. Girth

Place the tape on the top center of one shoulder. Bring it down the front of the body, through the legs, and up the back to the same shoulder. Keep the tape slightly loose, not tight.

    5. Inseam

Measure from the upper inner thigh down to the floor along the inside of the leg. Keep the tape slightly loose.

If you’re unsure, we’re happy to guide you through the measurement process.
